Montessori Garden Academy

Montessori Garden Academy (MGA) provides exceptional Montessori education, guiding children to reach their highest potential.

Our faculty and staff build self-confidence and nurture curiosity. Montessori curricula are different from traditional preschools and elementary programs because children "learn by doing" to achieve a sense of pride and independence. Early on, children learn to cooperate with each other and resolve their own conflicts respectfully. Rather than a "cookie cutter" approach, MGA’s caring teachers and individualized attention enable each child to reach his or her highest potential.

Childhood is a precious window of time when kids are most receptive to learning. Help build a strong foundation for your child or grandchild by investing in a rich learning environment now.

The Montessori Philosophy

The Montessori Method of education is a child-centered educational approach based on scientific observations, with over 100 years of success in diverse cultures throughout the world. It is a view of the child as one who is naturally eager for knowledge and capable of initiating learning in a supportive, thoughtfully prepared learning environment. It is an approach that values the human spirit and the development of the whole child—physical, social, emotional, cognitive.

Learning For Life

Montessori is unique among teaching curricula in that it empowers children to experiment, explore, and experience the world around them. Students move at their own pace, both learning from and guiding one another as they discover what it means to be lifelong learners. Montessori education offers our children opportunities to develop their potential as they step out into the world as engaged, competent, responsible, and respectful citizens with an understanding and appreciation that learning is for life.

Montessori has changed the way that we respect and treat children. Each child has a potential to grow and to learn beyond the limits that we set for them, if only we allow them the space and independence to do so.

Our daughter is almost 5 and already reading. She is challenged and encouraged every day through the Montessori method. The MGA teachers and assistants are very talented. This is more than a job for them - it is a calling. And this attitude shines through in the care they give the children.
